Meet Lillian and Paul from Born of Lies

Meet Lillian Michaels.
One night of freedom from her pack causes her world to flip upside down when she meets Paul Wright. One small encounter will have her questioning the life that had been set out for her, including her commitment to a man she was supposed to love. One lie will set in motion a future she’d never imagined possible and force her to decide between her pack, her family, and the secrets she’s been sworn to keep & finding true love.

Meet Paul Wright.
Music was his only love until he sees Lillian Michaels in the crowd of a punk rock music festival. From the stage, he watches her until her eyes finally meet his, and right then and there, he vows that he will somehow find a way to make her his. From the moment they meet, he senses she has something to hide, but he refuses to give up. She’s meant for him, and he is willing to risk it all to be with her forever.

Born of Lies is Out!

Staci and I are very excited about the release of our new novella, Born of Lies, a prequel to the Red Ridge Pack. Flashback in time to 1994 and find out how the lies began!
The world changed for Lillian Michaels the day Marcus chose her. Gorgeous, strong fierce…and soon he would be alpha of her werewolf pack. But then the marriage was set. No choice. No looking back. Except, she did. Lillian started looking forward, too, and wondering if eighteen was too young to give away her life.

Certainly, it is tonight. A rock concert. She and her friend, intoxicating music, sweat, bodies, freedom…and him: Paul. The human bassist’s touch makes her soul sing like the strings of his axe, and everything is possible. Yet, Lillian’s parents, her secrets, her entire world lies elsewhere. Paul doesn’t even see what she is, what she can do. What she must do. This to-die-for human is not of her kind. And yet, something special, something terrifyingly perfect, something eternally true has been…born of lies.

And if you haven't read Pack of Lies or Circle of Lies, the time to catch up is now! Get them both for only $.99 on Amazon for this weekend only! See links below:

One of the Best Reviews Ever!!!

 5 out of 5 Stars!
from
Now I know I why love werewolf books! Hot male werewolves, need I say more. Kick-ass female werewolves, oh yeah! The title really stays true to its meaning, its about a Werewolf Pack with many lies sprinkled all over the story which made it more juicy! It has soul mates aka true mates so intense that it just hooks you. It has love, betrayal, action, suspense and of course lots of werewolves.

The author did an outstanding job on getting you so hooked that you couldn’t wait to continue the next chapter. I loved that Allison and her brother Aiden go through this family secret together. The unity in the Packs and the Wright family is so great that it just made me feel so much emotions.

When I read that Alli would fall for the soon to be alpha I was a little skeptical about how it would be written, very love at first sight. I thought it might come out as too cheesy but boy was I wrong! It has so much drama and interesting twists that made me fall in love with them. At first I didn’t like Cade but after finishing the book I knew he was perfect for Alli.

Every character was very enjoyable and very well described in depth. I felt more for Allison just because she was more of the female heroin. Aiden and his family are kept in the back burner in this book which I thought it was a little depriving. I really think the author did a great job on writing this book with 3 POV’s. We hear about Allison, Cade and Kendall’s thoughts through out the book. I even enjoyed Kendall’s POV because you get to see how she actually became who she is.

All in all I can just say that this book is a wonderful 5 star action-packed romantic love story. A must read!

Born of Lies

Ahhh! Spring Break! A teacher’s favorite part of the year! It’s a time to sit back and read a good, steamy romance, or lay around at the beach soaking in the vitamin D, or … writing a prequel to Pack of Lies! That’s right guys! Sara and I are sequestering ourselves in an undisclosed location for some power writing.

We are so excited to have the opportunity to tell everyone how all the lies began. The prequel will tell the story of Alli & Aiden’s mother, Lillian. You will be there to witness her relationship with the future alpha of the Red Ridge Pack, Marcus Walker, and what happens when she meets the one guy that will change her future forever.

We may not return to school looking well rested or sun-kissed, but we will have one more story ready for everyone to enjoy!

Born of Lies will be available in May 2013 from Boroughs Publishing Group!

CIRCLE OF LIES (RED RIDGE PACK #2) by SARA DAILEY and STACI WEBER Blog Tour and Review

Rating: 5 wings

****BLOGGERS NOTE******

Previous to reading 'Circle of Lies I did read 'Pack of Lies' (also 5 wings!!!) because I am a bit OCD when it comes to reading a series of books!!! Although in the case of 'Circle of Lies reading #1 is not necessary I do feel that I had an introduction to the pack and the back ground to Red Ridge.

Last year I read several bad werewolf/shapeshifter books and I have found myself avoiding them since. However when the opportunity arose to review 'Circle of Lies' I thought it may be time to put aside my prejudice, and I have a feeling the Red Ridge pack have cured me!

Unlike other shapeshifter books I found 'Circle of Lies' focussed more on the human aspect of the story, and the wolf was merely a byproduct.

'Circle of Lies' is Aiden, Teagan and Peter's story. Aiden being the shifter, Teagan the human and Peter the crazy wolf-hunter. The story is told from the three differing perspectives, but Sara Dailey and Staci Weber avoid confusion by heading their chapters with the name of the narrator.

Aiden is coming to terms with being a werewolf, his first change, finding love and his real parentage. Teagan is dealing with her alcoholic and abusive father, her self-image, first love and the issues that surround that. Peter is coping with his uncle's death, his time spent in a psychiatric hospital, the fact that no-one believes in the existence of werewolves and his deteriorating mental health. These three stories intertwine in the most beautiful, explosive and heartbreaking way. Sara Dailey and Staci Weber tell a YA story concentrated on human emotions and relationships, whilst maintaining a paranormal element.

This book would appeal to fans of YA romance, as well as shapeshifter fiction. I admit I was blown away by it and can't wait for #3!!!
